Historic Church
Nestled just outside the historic Woodstock Square, Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock is a charming white church filled with rich history and timeless character. Woodstock, established in 1844, is a quaint small town known for its friendly community and old-fashioned charm. Many of the original buildings still stand today, giving the town a unique, nostalgic feel—so much so that it was chosen as the filming location for the classic movie Groundhog Day. Our building is one of the very first constructed in Woodstock, making it a true piece of local history. If you’ve always dreamed of saying “I do” in a little white historic church, this is your chance to bring that dream to life in a truly special setting.
The Ceremony
Your wedding ceremony at Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock will be a truly unforgettable experience, set within our beautiful and historic church. With stunning stained glass windows that glow as sunlight pours in, original wooden pews, and a warm, sacred ambiance, our space offers the perfect setting for a meaningful celebration. The charming front doors create a picturesque backdrop for timeless photos, and our state-of-the-art sound system ensures that every word and note is heard with clarity. Whether you're a church member or not, we welcome you with open hearts. We embrace people of all faith traditions, ethnicities, and walks of life—because at Unity, we believe in our essential oneness. You may choose to have our inspiring and heartfelt minister officiate your ceremony, or bring your own officiant to lead the way. With plenty of parking on-site and along the street, your guests will feel right at home from the moment they arrive.
Receptions
Host your wedding reception at Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock in our spacious and inviting reception room. Designed to accommodate a large number of guests comfortably, the room offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for your celebration. While receptions must be fully catered, we offer a fully functioning kitchen to support your catering needs. Tables and chairs are provided, and our team will work closely with you to design the layout and ambiance of the space. You're welcome to decorate to match your wedding theme, creating a personalized and memorable experience for you and your guests.
