For 2026, all twelve months of tips will follow a common theme: 12 Powers for our Planet, based on the national Unity EarthCare program. The Unity 12 Powers will also be explored yearlong at USCW through our Fourth Sunday themed services.
This month we explore begin with the power of Love.
Power 2 – Love
As a spiritual power, love goes far beyond feelings, attachments, or individual relationships.
Love is a universal harmonizing and unifying principle.
As we develop the power of love within ourselves, our sense of oneness expands.
The power of love in our world is incontestable and also so misunderstood.
Yet love is the great motivator for action, and the necessary ingredient to bring people of opposing views into a common understanding of interdependence.
Spiritually we learn interdependence is the way of love and that which we call God, as Love through us, does not guide one view, one person, one species–separate from all else, any more than the Sun guides one ray of light to only one atom.
Myrtle and Charles Fillmore spoke and wrote a lot about the connection between love and nature.
EarthCare Tip
The harmonizing power of Love enables us to cooperate, and to forgive. This is a useful power as we sit in the paradox of loving nature and staying above attack thoughts or words toward those who are harming it.
