Unity EarthCare Tip of the Month

March, 2026

For 2026, all twelve months of tips will follow a common theme: 12 Powers for our Planet, based on the national Unity EarthCare program. The Unity 12 Powers will also be explored yearlong at USCW through our Fourth Sunday themed services.

This month we explore the power of Strength.

Power 3 – Strength

  • Divine Strength is the divine idea of enduring integrity.

  • Greater than ‘muscling’ through challenges, more than dogged persistence, Divine Strength is the divine design to endure as the integrity of Oneness and interdependence.

  • The spiritual principle of strength involves the ability to stand strong in our Truth, even in the face of challenging circumstances.

  • It is part of what enables us to be kind even when being treated unkindly and to act and think lovingly even in challenging interactions.

  • Spiritual strength includes the ability to know who and what we are and what our value is without needing validation from friends, family, lovers, or society.

  • Jesus provided a profound example of spiritual strength.

One modern example of the link between the Power of Strength and our natural environment is biomimicry. Scientists view nature as a model, mentor, and measure, and asks how we as humans can, like other species, create conditions conducive to life. Often, we employ biomimicry because we recognize the inherent strength in nature’s designs. For example, green architecture utilizes ideas for living roofs that are inspired by trees that breathe in carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen.
